Before I moved out of my parents house last year in February, I used to sit on the sequencer all day making small clips, loops and tests.
But now, after focusing on other things, I find myself making one track every 2 weeks or so.
It’s better that way because I don’t wear myself out all day, and I get to feel refreshed and actually have a creative spark once I sit down to make a track.
I have many times thought ‘ok now I’m done with this genre’ but then later I hear something someones done and I get new inspiration from a different angle.
I wonder how long I will be making music for, because lately I’ve found myself with a ton of ideas, and I released the Wasteland and Xenoplasm EP’s because of that.
I still have more ideas in the same vein I want to make and release too.

My music has gone a bit away from melody and more onto sound design, which is actually refreshing.
I know some people see that type of music as ‘just sound’ but i can’t stop loving it :)

Also, I plan to write reviews of most of my favorite albums over the years and create a full review section.
I find writing reviews is fun and enables me to think more about what I’m listening to.
Either way I want to build out my website and be more active, which may also include me commenting on news and stuff too.

So I just came from the trip, and it was amazing.
The weather was absolutely astounding and we got really lucky.
Most days were spent water skiing, riding a banana on the water and other sports.
I’m going to be uploading images of it next..

I’ve been dreaming more in the past few months than I have my entire life, and while this has numbed down the impact some, I still like them a lot.
A couple years ago I would wake up after a dream and kind of obsess over what I had just seen, especially weird scenery and the likes. The images would be in my memory for an hour so after waking up.
Now, I don’t obsess over them, but I enjoy them while they last. It’s kind of a break from reality/wakeness, like drinking or something.
I enjoy any altered mind state really. But they do make an impact in how I think about the world around me.
Earlier today I was out having a smoke, and since it’s summer the sun never really goes down and it never becomes fully dark.
So at 11 pm I was out, and there was a strong wind, lots of clouds, and a kind of eerie gray look after it had just rained.
It was very dreamlike, and that’s what I like the most.

I always try to absorb natural atmospheres in nature, and tonight was perfect for that..
